Last Light is a 2D action survival adventure. You have a gun, basic supplies, and a dark lab full of monsters. Survival becomes harder when room lights start failing. Firearms kill enemies, but bullet supplies do not last forever. Room lights require battery power, but the laboratory needs electricity for other critical jobs too. Quiet lab rooms quickly turn dangerous when your supplies run low. Escaping alive remains your main goal.
Think of the laboratory as three jobs happening at once: stay alive, keep systems working, and prepare to leave.
Move around using W, A, S, and D. Check lab rooms and interact with objects using E. Avoid rushing into combat before searching surroundings safely. Collecting useful items helps prepare for future trouble.
Hold the right mouse button to aim and click the left button to shoot. Press R to reload weapons or use inventory items. Avoid shooting every distant zombie instantly. Running out of bullets during close encounters leads to fast death.
Inspect the generator and battery before assigning power routes. Lighting aids room searches, security locks protect entrance doors, and the elevator enables final escapes. Buy gun or defense upgrades whenever coins allow. Hold Left Shift to sprint away from urgent danger.
