Ant Flow is a colorful logic puzzle where worker ants collect matching blocks to clear the board and reveal a pixel-art picture.
Core Rule: Move order matters. You have only 5 waiting slots, so careless choices will block you.
More Than One Kind of Pixel Board
Ant Flow grows more interesting as you progress. Early stages use simple structures and clear color groups. Level 8 introduces mystery cubes. Level 12 adds locked cubes under higher layers. Level 18 brings dual nest-hole layouts. The game also has hundreds of pixel-art pictures with themes.
Check the board for exposed blocks (marked with white rings) and find their matching ant box in the lower tray.
Click a box to send ants and clear blocks. Once finished, the slot reopens for your next move.
The five waiting slots are where most mistakes happen. A box with no reachable target can sit there and block your next choices. If all five spaces become useless, the level can end before the picture is complete.
Tips: Try to leave one space open when possible. Use colors that can collect something immediately. Save other boxes for later. This gives you more options when a new layer opens.
You can also try Ant Rush when you want something beyond the regular puzzle progression.
Do mystery cubes change the puzzle rules?
Mystery cubes appear in later stages of the game. They display question marks on their outer faces. You must clear surrounding blocks to reveal them. They add fresh surprises to regular color matches.
How do locked cubes affect your slots?
Locked cubes hide beneath other structural layers. They remain completely unavailable for direct ant collection. You cannot remove them until upper layers disappear. This forces you to plan long sequences.
Is the game suitable for short breaks?
The puzzle has no ticking timers or lives. You can pause your progress at any time. Short sessions fit your busy daily schedule. Relaxing gameplay reduces your daily stress levels.
