Ravenfield is a first-person shooter. You will enter large battles across open maps. You face enemy forces, use different weapons, and fight around hills, buildings, and other useful cover. Fast reactions help, but good positioning can matter just as much.
The goal is to defeat opponents and stay effective during the battle. Different maps and match settings change each round. You can also choose between Command and Free For All modes for different combat experiences.
Drop onto expansive maps filled with hills, buildings, and defensive structures.
Move between walls and rocks immediately to avoid enemy sightlines.
Aim your weapon carefully, factoring in bullet drop for long-range shots.
Hop into available cars and aircraft to cross open ground safely.
Switching Modes: Play structured Command matches or chaotic Free For All skirmishes.
Controls
Do not stand in open ground while looking for enemies. Find a wall, rock, or building first. A protected position gives you more time to react.
Staying in one place makes your position easier to predict. A new angle can also reveal enemies you could not see before.
Crossing a large open space can be dangerous. Check the area before moving forward. Use nearby terrain to break enemy sightlines whenever possible.
Do not focus on one direction after defeating an enemy. Another opponent may already be nearby. Turn, scan the area, and prepare for the next attack.
