Block Blast is a vibrant strategy game that blends classic block fitting with modern logic puzzles. You must place colorful shapes onto an 8x8 grid to clear full lines. Unlike traditional falling block games, the pieces stay exactly where you drop them. This mechanic removes time pressure but adds deep spatial pressure to every move.
The game gives you three random shapes at the bottom of the screen. You must drag these pieces onto the grid and find the best fit for each one. You cannot get new pieces until you use all three from the current set. You have to plan your moves based on the available space.
You earn points by completing full rows or columns across the grid. When a line is full, the blocks disappear in a satisfying blast of color. Clearing multiple lines with a single piece creates powerful combos for bonus points. You should focus on creating gaps that can fit several different types of shapes.
The game ends immediately if you cannot fit any of the three current pieces onto the board. You must look ahead and leave open spots for larger or more awkward shapes. The difficulty curve increases as the grid becomes crowded with leftover blocks.
