About Arcade Glide

Arcade Glide is a minimalist reaction-based drifting simulator. You navigate a specialized car through a series of infinite, sharp bends. Your goal is to survive the escalating speed of the floating track. Your main mission involves linking together perfect swings using a central anchor system.

How to Play Arcade Glide

Forget manual brakes and gas pedals in this streamlined racing experience. Arcade Glide uses a tethering system that turns the road into a series of strategic pivot points. You manage the car's direction by mastering the tension of a single rope. Your vehicle glides along a neon track suspended in a void. There is no need to worry about the speed because the engine handles the acceleration for you.

Executing the Perfect Arc

As the car enters the red zone of a corner, you must engage the grappling line with a steady hold. This creates a physical bond that pulls your car into a tight circular path. You need to observe the nose of the car to see when it points directly down the next lane.

Gathering and Customizing

The highway is filled with valuable gems that reward your risky maneuvers. You can use these gems to unlock a huge roster of exotic cars in the game menu. Each car offers a different visual style to make your high-score runs look even better. The difficulty scales with your progress, adding more complex turns and faster obstacles to the mix.

Controls

  • Tap and hold your screen to link onto the anchors.
  • Lift your finger to snap the rope and travel straight ahead.

The Hard Road Ahead Arcade

Glide delivers a hypnotic feeling of constant movement and rapid-fire decision-making. You will enjoy the intense pressure of seeing a sharp corner approach at high velocity. The main challenge comes from the shrinking window of time you have to react to each post. As the car reaches maximum speed, the turns appear as sudden flashes on the screen. The tracks also become much thinner, meaning even a tiny mistake results in a total loss.
